HoloVizio 3D displays enhance the ability to visualize data during the diagnosis and the treatment of disorders. Diagnosis procedures can be completed faster and with greater accuracy which results in fewer false positives and false negatives (CT, MR, PET, Ultrasound, etc.). It can also improve therapy planning and administration of radiation treatment for cancer patients. It is found that the visual estimates of volume coverage are more accurate when a HoloVizio 3D display is utilized.
Increasing amount of surgery is done with minimally invasive techniques. In most cases the surgeon cannot see the area he is operating on directly and must rely on video and displays. Since the surgeon cannot see the work directly anyway, an appropriate 3D display can enable the performance of remote surgery.
