Early-Stage Researcher
Description:
Open position for a researcher / PhD student in the area of content generation / rendering / view generation for 3D light-field displays at Holografika for one year, followed by an extended stay at Tampere University of Technology for 1.5 years and at Holografika for one more year. This position is for an Early-Stage Researcher (ESR) in an EU-FP7 Marie Curie Action called PROLIGHT: Modern Signal Processing Methods for UltraRealistic Light-Field Displays.
Requirements for this position are as follows:
A MSc degree in computer science or closely related area from a research university is required to enter the program. The prospective candidates are supposed to have an excellent background in computer science and systems as well as strong mathematical skills and practical experience with computer graphics. Exposure to parallel programming and distributed systems is also welcome. Strong interests in 3D displays and collaboration with domain scientists is of further importance as well. Applications must include a detailed CV/resume, information of university level educational background and practical work experience, a statement of motivation and clear exposition of prior experience. Certified copies of transcripts and reference letters should be enclosed.
Entrance is subject to the successful evaluation of candidate(s)
- Expected start date: as soon as possible
- Duration is expected to be 1+1.5+1 years (in Hungary and Finland)

Experienced Researcher
Description:
This open position is for an experienced researcher in the PROLIGHT project for two years, specifically in software design for electro-optical 3D light-field displays and preferably expert in real-time 3D imaging systems, image processing and/or computer graphics.
Requirements for this position are as follows:
- Strong C++ experience (including templates)
- University degree
- Experience in scientific publications and international project work
- Confidence with oral and written English (to actively participate in international meetings, exhibitions)
- Orderliness and ability to work together in a small, sharp team
- Willingness to travel

Hardware Engineer

Description:
The company currently is searching for a hardware developer at the Hardware Engineer position. This position is responsible for a variety of hardware development and design tasks including FPGA custom design. The position requires a hands-on approach, experience, flexibility, maturity and confidence. Ability to work in an international environment in the framework of the Company's EU funded R&D projects is also of high importance.
Requirements for this position are as follows:
- Experience with all phases of FPGA custom design:
- Synthesis tools and scripts
- Place and route tools
- Design verification and bench testing
- Experience with ARM devices is advantage
Salary is based upon background and experience.
